Project Lorenzo - A Time for Change
Our 16-year-old founder, Armando Parrish, created this nonprofit to raise money to help people currently living on the streets. Besides helping with funding while transitioning to permanent housing, we provide job skills training, mentoring, and job placement services for the homeless. We partner with homeless recovery centers to identify individuals who are ready for our program. |
Music Festival Saturday, August 13th - 11am to 11pm Come enjoy 30+ bands perform on two stages, sample a variety of food from local food trucks, enjoy a craft beer or a glass of wine, and shop for that one of a kind painting or necklace in our artist village. Proceeds from this one-day music festival benefit Project Lorenzo. Our program delivers care packages to people experiencing homelessness and helps pay for their transitional housing. We also have a mentoring program and help with education and job skills training. Sponsorships still available. |
